Setting Up My 4x2x2

G'day well now that i've moved i can set up my tanks!!!

This 4x2x2 is for "Big Lez" my red tiger oscar. :biggrin:

I thought i would take some pics through its set up.

I got this tank last weekend for $150. with stand (though soon i will make a new stand).

I got some new gravel substrate today and have washed it and put it in.

I got the tank 2/3 of the way full and noticed a small leak half way up one edge! Dang! :wink:

So now i had to siphon (spelling? :blush: ) the water level below the leak and i will fix it tonight.

So poor Big Lez is still stuck in the bare 2ft that he has spent the last four months in :( .

My plan for this tank is to have a heap of driftwood in the middle and have anubias and java moss growing on the wood. i just hope i can get lez to leave them alone :unsure: .

Anyways more pics coming as a go. :)

Well after the leak misshap i've finally got big lez's tank setup.

I'm still to add some anubias and java moss to the driftwood. :)

G'day mate and thanks.

It's not that i only like tiger oscars as i have alot of other fish in other tanks.
He will be a big boy soon and this is a good size to have an oscar in :) .
As for tank mates i'm having trouble deciding what to put with him.
Also i can't be bothered rearranging the terrain yet.
