FS: Azolla

My azolla has nearly taken over the pond, so I'll be selling heaps of it.

Haha! thanks but I have my own duckweed infestation..

I can't get duckweed to survive for some reason. The azolla is great tho, and it's a native so I don't have to worry about it spreading.

I use it in my pond because it grows fast and sucks up the nutrients which would otherwise be used by algae. My pond is in direct sunlight all day, and yet I have minimal amounts of algae:)

I have duck weed growing so well in my main tank that everyday I have to scoop out a net worth.So I throw it out into the pond where the goldfish even have trouble getting through it all.
Orther wise it cuts out way to much light for the plants below.
Just did a big mow of all my plants just the othet day and it seems the lack of light has had a bit of an effect on thier health.
