Hey all,

Well what can i say, i have kept fish for about 15 years strted with tropicals then oscars then americans and then africans, Currently and for a long time yet I am into most things Tanganyikan, particularly Tropheus.

Anyways i have one display tank in the house, its 8x2x2.

i have another 24 tanks in the garage / fishroom ranging from 2 footers to three 6x2x2 Central air system, all tanks run sponge filters, the bigger have home made filters and power heads aswell.
Climate is controled by reverse cycle aircon.

well as for work i spend one day a week in the fish room, doing water changes, and then just feeding daily. I have finished getting it the way i want now and am pretty happy. And I am almost finished building the 8 footer stand.

Now that i have finished spending heaps on the fish i can relaxe and watch and breed, sell fry. It also explains why i have suddenly had a few grand to spend on other new interests.....hence the other forum! :biggrin:

Welcome to TFT. Beautiful rock-work in the 8'er, would I be right that it is sandstone? I know how "fun" it can be to keep that white sand sparkling like that, and I have to say mate, my hat comes off for you :p
Love the racking in the fishroom too, very clean. Did you make it yourself?

Edit: lol, is that a map of Tanganyika there as well? A collector indeed...

G'day Trofius, welcome Mate. Love the set up. It would be like having your own Store. Awesome. I'm wanting to set something similar up but I'm asuming these things take time. Refering to finances especially. But at this stage mine would be based more on the South American side. Despite this I've always thought that the Compressiceps to be one of the more interesting looking Fish I've ever seen. Owned a couple in the past but that set up had nothing on yours. If that were mine my partner wouldn't see me much.:p
