Hey guys I've just set up a fresh cold water tank. I've just got one black moor in there so far. Now I looked up alternatives to goldfish in cold water. Tandanus Catfish came up and I went to the aquarium to look at them. Now one store keeps them in cold water, and another keeps them in warm water. Both of them seem to be thriving. Now will I run into any problems if I buy the one from the warm water tank and put it in my cold water tank? just float the bag in my tank for abit and slowly mix the water and all should be fine?

they will survive in both warm and cold water, if you are going to keep them in cold water and you have the choice to bye them from a supplier that also keeps them in cold water thats where i would be buying them from. little to no climate change then
