Macquarie Perch?

are these perches avainle for aquariums?
If so does anybody know where bouts they are located in queensland.

i dont think they are available in the aquarium trade, well thats wat i have heard in victoria might be dif in QLD. i think ur best bet would be to catch one from a river or somethin if u guys have em up there.

but let me know how u go.

Hi guys first post, Macquarie Perch are a protected species so would not be available in the aquarium trade, also this would not allow you to collect them from the wild. I'm also pretty sure their range doesn't extend into QLD.

welcome to thefishtank fishlessmick, in victoria u are allowed to catch and keep macquarie perch in a few rivers, but the minimum size is 30cm so if u caught one of this size u could keep it.
