Well i finally sold off my large silver dollars and now have gone out and bought some neons and guppies for the three footer, thanks to Joz i have more guppies than i thought i could get and also its got alot more plants in it than I had before.
But the thing i like the most is I had forgotten what it was like to have a tank full of active colourfull fish that are everywhere all at once
The plants look great and the fish are all swimming arount as happy as.
No big fish to chase them, no fish hiding in the dark like my 5 foot tank!
Where the only fish out of about 20 i see are the 3 bigger ones unless im feeding them!!!
heres a pic of the happy tank , now i might get back to work sorting out the fish in the 5 footer so its as enjoyable as my 3 footer.

Hi Daz , yes i guess he is a little now, I'm sure he wasn't that big a couple of years ago, he's just another example of how fish don't stop growing when the size of the tank dictates!

Glad to see the guppies all settled in Dazz.
In a strange way I think your right about all the little non specific fish.
For years all I have ever wanted were exxy and impressive fish.I thought of my self as a specialist breeder.
Nowadays I find it ok just to have some harmless color swimming about.
Must admit though Discus are still my lust, just not addiction anymore.
I'm also finding planted tanks more enjoyable now than ever before also for color and scenery.

Hes now in my 5 footer Dazz and as i have mentioned in another thread I am replacing his presence in the tank with some glass shrimp and some more neons
Thanks for the comment mate, sometimes i cant see the problems when they are right in front of my face!
