Does anyone keep or has anyone kept this species before, from what i read they are a bit fragile, good in schools, need live feed, anyone had any experiences with them?
I don't do the live feed thing so if thats the case i wont get them, was thinking of a school of 10 in my planted tank with my guppies

I've kept them before mate, beautiful little fish. They will take spirulina flakes and the like, as most are captive bred these days. They don't tend to remain in display colours all the time from what I've seen and read, but are still quite interesting when they're not. Something I'd definitely like to try again :)

I’ve kept and bred them over a number of years.. One thing I have found is that they need to be fed fine food. They have little mouths and will just starve in a tank being fed large pellet or flake.

Apparently next months' Aquarium Keeper Australia has a great article on culturing all types of live foods. Might be a good one to look at if you're planning on keeping them Daz ;)
