The moderator should have the authority to edit what goes on to the website. If he chooses to exercise that authority I'm happy to accept his decisions.

Maybe vet some forum members for a start.

When I look to see what's happened with a new 4' tank set-up I don't need or want the sex stuff. Last year, through the forum in a personal message, I had a very unattractive (or maybe attractive if I wasn't so old) offer from a Russian prostitute.:)

PS: My fish aren't interested in this stuff either.... their needs are already catered for! Unless there is an attractive young female Firemouth out there....

Yes, not sure whats happened just recently.
But it sems nerly everytime I log on my first duty is removing spam and banning.

Don't know how and why they have come back ,but TFT was reasonably Spam free for a while.
But like you it annoys the crap out of me as I don't have any desire to look at the stuff.

But all I can say to any members here is never to open attached link from any new poster that even ressembles spam.
Otherwise you may end upwith a very polluted computer very quickly.

Yeah, I understand completely. My old site (big in Flight Simulation) was sited in New York and was eventually bought down by concentrated virus attacks. At least this spamming is not vicious. But there are some wierd people out there.
