they have 3 pieces of driftwood they love to munch out on. i drop algae discs in there every couple of days. and just recently started to put in zucchini slices (my god do they love zucchini). my question is how often i should feed them the zucchini. btw i have 3x3cm bristlenose (2 albino, 1 reg), 2x4cm reg bristlenose, 1x5cm reg bristlenose. all in my 4 foot community tank. oh and a 6cm clown pleco who will be going into bigger tank when i aquire one (soon i hope) lol

I only feed mine zuccinni once a week, Im sure its benificial to them but it seems to go straight through them anyway, plus of course algae discs and then they have the natural algae in the tank and food scraps from the regular feedings of my other fish.

they love the regular brown algae.
just leave a bucket out with a couple of peices of glass or slate and they'll love you for it.
other than that, try blanched peas and even just a clump of elodia growing in your backyard.

i would recomend feeding the zuchinni at least once a week however i feed mine sometimes 3 times a day supplimented with lots of other things lol so it depends on how fast you want them to grow and how mmuch water changes you want to do.
remember that the poops that plecos of all sorts make is usually high in fibre and doesent coontain much protien or sugars to foul the water up as much as normal fishy poops. so although it may look like alot of waste it doesent add to the bioload quite as much :)
