Preventing algae

Hey guys,
This isn't the usualy green water problem.
We have a UV sterilizer in place.
but I'm wondering whether if theres any way to prevent hair algae from growing on my river stones.
Pond is in full sun, so I'm not expecting a reply.

I assume you have gold fish in the pond.
But if your feeding them anything,stop!

Let them graze only on the algea.In our pond I rarely feed the fish and they are doing very well.

we have rainbows in there.
does that make a difference?
dietary requirements etc..
