I've now got a new 3ft tank, seeing as the old one (3'x14"x18") i had decided to do some bowing in the sides, and was making me nervous.
Sooooo....

Stats
Tank size: 3'x18"x18"
Lighting: 1x 3ft T8
Substrate: JBL AquaBasis/gravel mix topped with plain black gravel

Hardscape: All found in my back yard *L*

Looks nice.

I wonder why it was bowing, did it have (enough) bracing up top?

Thanx.

There was no center bracing, hence why the old one was bowing :) I still have the tank, it is still water tight, just i can not fully fill it again. But thats ok, i have other aquatic plans for it :)

It's not to difficult to add bracing, thenyou could keep using the tank.

The glass seems to be slightly permantly bowed, so i wont bother. I have other plans for the tank anyway so its all good.
