aerator for murray cod?

Hi,

I will be keeping around 2 small murray cod in a big tub (300l), the tub has alot of surface area were the water mets oxygen, will i still need a aerator or not.
Also the tub is outside.

i would have an aerator as the tub will heat up during summer if it is outside and this will cause the ammount of dissolved oxygen in the water to decrease. so an aertator is a good idea.
