like from top to bottom, what's the arrangement? (e.g. top basket = bioballs, middle = noodles and bottom basket = wool)
I am assuming the inlet and outlet are both on top.
maybe the arrangement does not matter?
Thank you

I'd be interested in the expert's answer to this one too. I just recently re-did my Fluval 202 filter and I went for cotton and carbon ganules in the bottom - layer on layer - then noodles in the middle and the top baskets. New noodles in the middle and old noodles in the top. Despite what everyone says I did replace 2 of the 4 foam panels on the side. Within a couple of days the water was as clear as a bell. I do have another filter system on the top (it's a Sun Sun) with water flowing through felt pads on top of noodles and carbon granuls in each of the 4 baskets. I cleaned all that out and replaced the noodles about 3-4 months ago.
The reason why I got to the Fluval was that I decided my tank was overstocked as the water was a bit misty - not cloudy, but misty - so took 7 of the bigger fish out - Hongis, Electric Blues etc - and traded them in for small electric yellows.
