There are many bottom feeders to choose from and most are usually quite peaceful in a planted community aquarium. Good bottom feeders include bristlenoses, corys, otocinclus, SAE's and many other catfishes and loaches. Most of these will help clean up uneaten food from the substrate and otocinclus and young SAE's can be useful for controlling algae. Older SAE's, clown loaches and common plecs can get quite large and destructive, though they should be fine in a 4ft. Mature SAE's can also be territorial

Hi tantan

I would recommend otocinclus they are a very peaceful fish and will clean up your tank and algae .
