Albino Catfish sick

My Albino Catfish that I have had for 4mnths or so is not a well chappy. For the last 5 or 6 days he has been swimming for a while then floating like he has died, spends alot of the time floating upside down and swimming irratically, other times he swims along fine. He is still eating and a few times I thought he had died and went to scoop him out only for him to dart away. He looks fine, no bloating or any injuries I can see. I feel bad for him. Any ideas anyone?

humm... seems a bit strange, mabeys he's just a strange fish lol, he can't be that sick if he's still eating lol, yeah mabeys its just the way he is a bit wierd lol

how is your water quality?are the fishes fins clamped together or spread out?any sudden dramatic changes in temp?have you added any treatment chemicals to your tank?
