hi all i have recently purchased a tank for my pet cod claude who has become one of the family over his 6 years with me. now i have always been able to move him straight off(in an esky with his water) with no restarting the tank etc and due to time restrictions i will not be able to again this time. claude is 400mm going on 500 and he is going into a 6 x 2 x 2 tank which should see him for a few more years (going from a 4ft tank) now my question is how would you do it and what precautions would you take due to the heat etc at this time of year. he has moved 3 times before taking 2 hours the first, 4 hours the second, 2hr the third and ech time has come out hungry as i have it down to a fine art, the only problem is getting him out

In the beginning my first tank also caused many problems.after some discussions with my friends they told me to change the size of the tank.now my fish can move easily from one part to another.
