hey all,

i have a colbolt blue zebra and an electric yellow and they are breeding!!!

some of the fry have been eaten but quite a few have survived and are getting big. my tank is becoming very overcrowded and this can't go on!!!

i'm goin to put one of the adults in another tank, but that tank is full of very non agressive fish and i'm not sure which one is more agressive, the yellow or the zebra???

i desperatly need to do something with the fry!! i cannot keep them in that tank and i have no where else to put them and i think they may be breeding amongst themselves...(is that possible??)!!!!

pls, i need help with this!!!!

thanks

Selling or giving away fry or maybe using them as feeders would be the best option. But if you can't it would be better to put the fry instead of adult in your community tank until they get larger as they will be less aggresive and/or dangerous.

Presumeably the male would be the most agressive, but it's been my experience that the ELs are less agressive than the zebras. What to do with the fry? Mmm, they really should stay with you - forever. It's not really fair or ethical to pass non-pure breds into the market.
