Whats the best way to take photos with a digital camera?

Change your lense settings.
You will probably have to use a slow shutter but this will give a greater depth of field.

I'm sure there may be better ways to do it, but I use automatic setting and half press down to focus. You should notice a focusing square in the middle of the frame. Focus that on what you want to take a photo of, half press and then take the photo. The other option if that doesn't work move the angle of your camera to the subject, half press to focus and try again. See how that goes!

I'm no photographer - but I use a simple digital Kodak camera with the close-up setting. When the subject appears in the viewing screen I press the button. Flash on and tank light/s on.
