My German Rams First Spawn Failed.

My little female started laying eggs on a stone and the stupid male thought she was a food disensor :wink: .
Anyways i went to subscape for the first time today and got another male. hopefully this guy will be a little more natural in his fatherly ways :p .

OH thats a bit sad, usually doesn't it take a few goes for young cichlids to become good parents... cutting your mans run a little short then no? hehe.
Anyway good work on getting a new male, what did you think of subscape? If you go in again and Chris is there (the younger guy) tell him Tim says he smells haha, but excpect a rather colourful tirade... hmmm actually best not to say anything as chris can be rather excitable... hehe

Bad luck Sloory, I probably wouldn't get another male just yet. I would give them another go. It often takes a few goes as suggested above and if you already have a pair that find each other 'attractive' (lol) I'd stick at it for the time being :)

edit: oops you already got another male. Are you keeping the M,M,F in the same tank?

nah, to tell the truth this wierd male was not in good health so i put him down :( .

I will give this next male a few goes this time. Though the young fella at subscape said that they'll always do it if they start the bad habit :wink: .
