Thought I would get the ball rolling with one of my setups.

This is an 8ft tank (1200 litres) setup for African's.

Using 3mm marble chip substrate, white rock, and polystyrene rock look back wall.

Currently have:

1 x Giant Gourami
1 x Frontosa (6 bar)
2 x Venestus (M & F)
2 x Green Terrors (Breeding Pair)
2 x Cobalt Blue Zebras
1 x Electric Yellow
2 x Irredescent Sharks
1 x Cobwe Colony (4 F, 1 M)
1 x Peacock
1 x Electra

Using 3 x Air driven sponge filters, and 2 x Fluval 403 canisters.

makes my tank look pretty abysmal in comparison, plus i think the whole thing would fit under one of those rocks http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif

Looks great Marc! When you put up other photos, I'd be interested in seeing the works as well, the filters underneath etc... Must be my technical mind at work....

Now, how do you get the fish to stay still when getting their photo taken? http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif

Grrrrrrrrr, if you can figure that one out Leon, please tell me!

I'll make an effort to run around with the camera tonight and get photos!

A flash should enable you to get a faster shutter speed, but it will have to be way off camera or you will only see reflections... Taking photos of tanks is very hard!

Hi Joz (welcome to TFT), yes I have them in another small tank at the moment. Unsure what to do with them at this stage.

Thanks Marc.
I'd try to breed the Uarus, they fetch a nice price as young ones, also they're a good challenge.

I'll have to look into determining the sex of them first. I've never checked but I'm certain I'll have two males there.
