Due to the fact that i have about 100 baby bristle nose at the moment, I purchased a heap of zucchini at the market and froze it for daily use.
My plan was to defrost a zucchini a day and add it to the tank as i would normally add fresh zucchini.
I added a piece the other day and it hardly seems to have been eaten at all, normally a piece lasts a day or 2 maximum.
My question is, could freezing the zucchini have changed the composition of the zucchini causing it to be unpalatable to the bristle noses?
Or are they just getting fussy and preferring fresh zucchini??
I guess in nature there is generally plenty of algae so they can choose the freshest to eat.
