Looks great Dazz , is the short grass in the front Riccia? Thats thickened up heaps since your last photo.How will the neons be with the new arrivals?

Thanks mate, the grass is hair grass.
It is growing really quick! it has sent out heaps of runners!

does it make it hard to clean the tank ? obviously you cant use a gravel siphon.

Mate the beauty of a fully planted tank is that you don't need to syphon because you generally
don't have big fish in them so there isn't much waste plus my shrimp and snails clean up more thatn good enough :)
Also the plants help filter out the bad stuff (how professionally put :p ).

will you ever have to clean it out? surely its not completely self maintained?

Just wondering, is hair grass the same as dwarf grass. If so do you know where you can get some in the melbourne area? (few places i've been to dont have any and try to sell me java moss)

I got mine from boronia,
its a nice big punnet you get there and the grass is nice and healthy. :)
