ANGFA Qld general meeting this Friday (9 April), 8:00 pm at the Bar Jai Community Hall (178 Alexandra Road Clayfield). We have two speakers programmed:
* Brad Chapman from Prestige Pets will speak about the ‘Prestige’ line of fish food and ‘Aquapics’ water buffers (and hopefully will have some samples for us).
* Leo Lee will speak about collecting M. duboulayi in SE QLD and his genetic work on those fish.
The prize for this month’s raffle is a bag of goodies donated by Jodi-Lea Matheson of Fishchick Aquatics.
The late Doug Collom has donated his collection of fish books to our library, and these should be available for loan shortly. We will also have some of his tanks and equipment for sale at the auction.
Steve Baines is bringing some trophy fish to auction at the meeting this Friday, including large male incisus, and several types of tris (banded rainbowfish). He also has some stunning sword plants.
We also want to finalise the orders for Adrian Tappin’s book (last chance).
