Hi sharky

I've kept rams and dwarf cichlids and they were happy with the usual conditions for south american cichlids and tetras, such as
temp = about 27 deg C in summer and 25 to 26 in winter
pH between about 6.7 and 7
kH/GH should be kept low, about 25 to 75ppm (about 2 to 4degkH/GH)
Food: they can be a bit finnicky at first but generally their curiosity will force them out and they are quite happy with dry micro granules for small cichlids (eg nutrifin) alternated with frozen bloodworms for a special treat.

Cheers

Hi SB,Rams tend to be easy if all the water quality parameters are met.
I've found them to keep to themslves and even breed in my community tank.I've kept them with discus and cardinals with no drama whatsoever. They tend to get a bit territorial when they are breeding or have young, they are poorely disciplened parents. The kids get awy from them way to easily :(
