Hi all
was just wondering if any one has bred golden suckers before ???
dont have any exprience with breeding fish and wouldnt have a clue?? but would like to start trying with the suckers any help would be great as in tank set up, water temp etc
or am i betta off starting with the cold water sucking fish? or something easier to breed ??

done a bit of research on google and it seems that they are quite hard to breed so might just try something a little easier

hi you cant go wrong with common bristlenose start with about 3 before you no it you got hundreds:)

You don't even need three. Just 1 male and 1 female, and a 'cave' for the male to reside in (which can be just about anything, as long as he can fit in it, and there is only one opening). If you get a pair of mature fish, you will have HEAPS of fry within a month.
