empty breeding 3ft tank need idea's what to breed

ok guys
heres the restrictions
3ft by 1.8ft tank

my wife wants a pair of oscars and i dont
so my aim here is to find a fish that is easy to breed wont outgrow a 3ft tank
and sell off its fry / juvinal's at a resonable price

the catch ..... my wife has to like the fish any ideas would be great

i was thinking convicts as they root like rabbits give me some idea's

Keyholes, friendlier than Convicts. Or maybe firemouths. 1 Oscar in a 3ft tank is too much potentially.

exactly why i dont want to get an oscar means geting anouther tank in 3 to 5 months i already got 5 tanks and thats enough atm = why im want the 3 ft to be a community tank/ breeding

will have plenty of filtration im going for minimum of 12x cycle

Electric yellow cichlids are awsome to look at and easy to breed, pull a good dollar at sale time too
