well, one problem im having is knowing when there are lil bn's swimming around prior to cleaning out the tank.

Also, feeding seems to be an issue. Of course when i chuck in anything for the BN's the goldfish pounce. this includes algae chips, zucchini, etc. i have even attempted hiding food specifically for them in nooks and crannys but i have a range of sizes in the goldfish as they had kids not to long ago...

so my 2 questions are:

is there a way of cleaning out the tank without upsetting the minuscule bn's so they dont come out and become tasty snacks...

and is there anything that goldfish wont eat but the bn's will enjoy. they are surviving on algae solely at the moment.

thanks in advance!

The trick to feeding bristle noses that are fighting for food with other fish is to feed them at night in the dark, thats when they can eat without the other fish hassling them.make sure you have already fed the other fish and then feed them b4 u go to bed , turn off the lights and they will be fine
