Hi everyone,
I have just a 30 L tank with a male kribensis and one zebra danio. The tank is light to medium planted with an arching rock as his cave.
I recently bought what i think are three flame tetras to give some colour to the tank. At first they got along but now the krib and the danio are relentlessly terrorising them. I separated the krib and danio in a breeders net for a few days to see of they would calm down but they were back at it as soon as i released them.
I know the krib isn't ideal as a community fish but his behaviour is much worse than it used to be compared to when it shared the tank with two danios and a molly. (I've had him about 6 months.)
I am not in a position to be setting up a larger tank and i would really like to some a few small colourful fish in the tank with the krib. Should i try and return the tetras with tatty fins to the pet store and try a different kind of tank mate? Or should i try and give my krib a new home?
I'd appreciate any advice, thanks.
