Setting Up Rena Filter For Cichlids Help!

Hello

Im setting up my Rena Filstar xp2 and i wondering what the best filtration media is to put in? Ive been told different things, im now just running ceramic noodles in the filter, should i be using Bio-Chem as well? If anyone could help me on this and give me some ideas that would be great. The filter it self has been running for around 5 months now.

p.s ive got all african cichlids

put some filter wool in to catch the finer bits, rememeber when putting in new filter media to keep a bit of the old stuff in the filter, you can put in zeolite or carbon, but with a good bacteria colony growing on bio balls/ceramic noodles you don't really need any carbon or zeolite.
