After many years of successful tropical fresh water tanks i finally have the opportunity to set up a reef tank that i have always wanted. i have been researching marine aquariums for a long time but never had the time or space to make anything of it but i now have a spare 1200 x 400 x 500 tank and enclosed stand. Im basically looking to build a sump to fill the space below out of acrylic, as i can get this cheap.
So my question is what to have in there? there is soo many different designs and ideas on the web and each has better stuff than the last. Basically i have a virgin space of 1220Lx550Hx320W inside the cabinet that i can put all the best ideas in there.
any ideas and info will be excellent, also pictures of running ones, diagrams and brand names of products used will be a great help.
