Catfish Feeding Help

i just got my new catfish... how do i feed him? i believe im supposed to feed him after i turn the lights out right? cuz if i dont all my other fish will eat all the food. do i feed him the bloodworms with a turkey baster?

I have an Eeltailed catty & hardly ever see er, but when I do I can tell she is eating ok because she has grown an inch & a half in 3 months.
I feed a small snack in the morning when the lights go on & a larger feed at dusk. I have 10 Tiger Barbs, 2 Bali sharks, 2 Red tailed sharks & 2 Angles.
No the Barbs dont hassle the Angles. well they did when I had 5 so I put 5 more in & now they just hassle each other.
Funny to watch the Barbs I can sit for ages watching them I wish I had their energy. I give the lot blood worms once a week as a treat if they have behaved.

How do you know your catty is a he? I know mine is female because her name is Cathrine:)
