New to the forum (though I know I was registered on one a long time ago, I just can't remember which one!) and just saying a quick 'hi'.
I'm one of those people who never really liked fish until I fell in love with my boyfriend's fighter and got one of my own. Of course, he was lonely in his little tank, so I got him some cory and tetra friends. Then I got him his bestest friend ever (they'd swim everywhere together, it was very cute), a western pygmy perch. So of course, by now, I needed a bigger tank.... you know the story!
Now I have a 65L community tank with fighters, gourami (as of recently just one :( ), tetras, bristlenose, a geriatric cory and cherry shrimp (I think - they're like little ninjas, impossible to see). One of the tetras is named Leonardo, after the teenage mutant turtles, because he has two tails.
My partner has a 125 L tank with tetras, bristlenose and gouramis as well, plus we have plans to build a koi pond :)
Oh... and I'm looking to buy a nice second hand 6-footer.....
