Hi everyone,
I would like your opinions on keeping a healthy and clean gold fish tank.
I have a fish tank with measurements of 92w x 51h x 36d and holds 177 Litres (46 Gallons) of water.
What kind of filter would be most suitable? I was considering an under gravel filter as well as a hang on filter.
Thank you.

Posting the question in one forum is enough. You didn't need GD & Pond/cold-water. There's not enough activity here at the moment to be worried your posts will get lost in the swarm of activity.
I've heard under-gravel's aren't that good as you effectively need to strip the tank down to get to the filter, too much work for you & too much stress on the occupants for long term feasability. Besides it can get clogged a lot quicker than other filter mediums. HOB's are ok i guess if you don't have the space for an under-tank cannister filter or it's plumbing. However the latter do seem to work more effectively, have a larger medium capacity and can be fitted much closer to a wall. Oh and are usually a lot quieter, which was the selling point for me.
