Hello, i 've got my new catfish from my friend. how do i feed him? i believe im supposed to feed him after i turn the lights out right? If I don't all my other fish will eat all the food. do I feed him the bloodworms with a turkey baster?

Is it a bristlenose? You'll need some algae wafers/discs for him to nibble on. Apart from that I'm not sure; I think they eat bloodworms too but he needs vegetable matter. Put in some zuchinni too, and maybe some cucumber. You can boil the zuchinni for a minute or two so it sinks. Remove it after 12 hours :)

You can feed most catfish bloodworms, just getting the bloodworms TO the catfish can be hard(the fish go crazy and eat them all or something). So it may be good to feed them once the lights are out.

Other options for high protein food is sinking shrimp pellets, all of my fish seem to eat them with haste.
