my red humps are breeding. they are mouth brooders, the female currently has a mouth full of eggs, i am hoping they have been fertilised. i have moved the female into a glass breeding container, however that is still in the tank. she has been in there over night and she is upside down with no energy at all. i think i might loose her. i'd rather keep her then the eggs.

I'm sorry to hear that; try posting this on AquaiumLife, there might be someone there who can help you... I certainly can't.

I used to breed heaps of them and never moved the female, why did you do that?
IMO if you neeed to move a fish move the one not attending young.
Difficult in a community tank though.
