hello all, have been a member of this forum for a month or so but have never posted. Got my first fish today (2 murray river rainbows and 2 empire gudgeons) so i figured id better introduce myself. :wink:

thanks wombat, the gudgeons didnt seem that impressed with the fast current running through the tank, the just sat in the corner. so today i got a couple of caves for them to hang out in and got another 4 rainbows (2 banded and 2 goebey? river). ill see how its all going when i get home. :biggrin: i already neeed another tank.

got a 2 by 1 by 1ft tank. no pics yet. im keen on having a murray cod in a tank so my next goal.

Hi mate, where are you getting your rainbows from?> I'm having trouble finding a LFS with any range of fish.
Theres a few people on here with cod,so advice should be a plenty,seems a large tank is a must, don't overfeed and no heater will slow the growth,but a mammoth fish is inevitable!

Hey buddy, i have been getting my fish from local petstock (echuca) they dont have a huge selection of rainbows about four varieties, lady in store said im the first person that has shown interest in them. I will try and find out were they get them from when i go in next.

Hi Luke, I got all my stock of rainbows from Livefish.com.au, but had heaps of delivery problems, fish were good quality though, its a risk getting them that way, had 3 deliveries and they stuffed all of them up!
