Just wanted to throw it out there for you guys to make suggestions for the names of the Forums we should have on this site.

Happy to add new ones, take away or merge existing ones.

Feel free to make any suggestions.

Hi, maybe the beginners forum should have a couple of stickies on cycling and how it works and also some basic facts on how to set up your new tank properly

Though i'll admit straight up that i'm to inexperienced to explain them properly.

I nominate joz! i think he could do i good article.
No pressure joz :p

Hi Marc don't add too much sub forums as it makes the forum too confusing just look at other forums and improve yours a bit only because the more playing around for members/guests the less members/guests are going to be online and join up.

Hi,

Could we Have a forum setup for planted tank talk?
It could have a few sticky's on algea and first and such.
Also a thread for plant id's.

Just a thought :) .

I wouldnt mind something on basic breeding, although I realise this could be difficult because every fish is different.

in the classifieds section it would be nice to have it devided into state sections, and a section for people willing to post, and ACT having a seperate section to NSW!! also a nano tank section

Looks good mate, except i think that cichlids really need there own forum seperate from tropicals.

There's just so much to post on both subject that it would make it easier to navigate.

other than that. well done :)

Hi Marc,

the sections are great, i think the cichlids are fine where they are- because before you know it we'll have a different forum section for each type of fish and thats just way too convuluted! (sorry sloory  )!

thanks again for your efforts!

Hi Marc It all looks very nice. The Message Forums page looks great.
My only small suggestion atm would be to have an Africans section added.
It seems that they are such a very specific catagory with their own very dedicated enthusiasts.
Also if you did this?maybe have it split into subforums of Taganyaki and Malawi,or African Rift Lake Cichlids.

Maybe a few plant/fish profiles? If anyone's interested I'd enjoy doing a bit of research - help get it up and running. I've seen it on a few American sites, and it can be quite interesting, especially if you're looking for a new species to try out/study. Also keeps things interesting for those of us who have had experience with a lot of different fish. What do you guys think?

Just an update on this, I have some more time to spend on this site now and was just checking to see if we're happy with the current forum / categories layout? Could we add anything that needs it's own area, or merge any existing forums that are under utilised?
