I have on occasion had a neon tetra lose its entire tail fin, i have about 30 and all the others seem fine.
I have one now , he eats well and swims like hes a retard but other than that hes fine,
now i don't know what happens to them, if they die or not coz they are small and i have so many, but i think they survive,
Any ideas??

Hi there
i had the same problem with mine aswell .. after 1 week of getting them
my guess is its a sign of bullying buy the other tetra's .. thats wut my fish pro guy said ...
i would recomend putting the tetra in a trap .. and let him heal by adding aloea thingy .. i think its called API Stresst Coat * ... due to me being very busy i couldent do this and he died about 4 months after me getting all .. so i have 5 left now :(
