Lombardi

Hello, help reuired... i have a newly set up tank, i have approx 30 cichlids / others comprissing of Blue Dolphins, Peacocks, Electric yellows, Jewles, rainbow sharks, Loaches and a couple of Silver dollars.... The 2 lombardis are chasing everthing in sight including each other....would it be advisable to get rid of them. (they where purchased as a gift) Thanks...Bluedolphin

Hi dolphin, do u have enough homes for all of your fish in that tank? actually more than enough caves and the like will help, if they continue to do it i would trade them in or sell them, they will be stressing out the other fish , and if it is continual there is a chance they will do it until they kill the fish they are chasing.
how big is the tank you have all these fish in? is there plenty of room for them to call their own ?
just my thoughts , others might have different ones , but from my experience, thats what i would be doing

Hi dazz, thanks for the reply.. the tank is 6ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft. their is quiet a few holes and caves for the buggers the rest of the fish were peaceful until the lombardi's entered the tank...must admitt they were the last to enter the tank. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be of great help. Thanks.. BlueDolphin

Get rid of the Lombardi mate, they will chase until the death. been there done that hehe.
