:unsure: Hey Guys, I am new to the fish side of things, (gone from reptiles to fish) I currently have a 6ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft tank, its been up and running about 3mths. What is the est of fish i can keep. I have ciclids and a few others...is it over crowded.. I have Peacocks x 4, Bluedolphins x 2, Clown Loaches x 4, Rainbow Sharks x 4, Electric Yellows x 2, Silver Dollars x 2, Jewel x 2 and Gourami x 4 (Pearl & Gold) is this overkill or will they live as they :happliy ever after) I have decide the 2 Lomdardi's must go.. :angry: ... Please help your assistance is valuable....I think the petshops know nothin...just interested in sellin fish....

Hi blue,
doesn't sound overcrowded to me, just research ya fish before buying them , different water parameters for different fish so if you want a happy tank just make sure you have the right fish.
also if you want a full looking tank, check where in the water column they swim ie top of tank middle or bottom, a good selection will make your tank look fuller than it really is.
