What is the best! external canister filter or bio filter
I have a
1X 800L/per hour Hailea
1X 1000L/per hour eheim
1X 1200 L/per hour Aqua Sun
and a bio filter rated for a 500+ liter tank which is actually an internal.

I'm not happy with the hailea as if the filter is tilted even slightly water pours out the sides, the guy at shop I bought it from said its normal?!?

The Aqua sun doesnt seem to keep the water clear for long befor it starts to cloud up!

The internal bio is in a small tank waiting for fry which is actually an internal, while the hailea and eheim, are in a 400 litre tank with jewels, ans the aquasun is in another 4 00 litre tank with mostly convicts.. I've searched the net and most point at the eheim I've got as being the better

Both 4 foot tanks have an internal power head filter to stir things aroundas does the 2 foot tank although a smaller power head.

Any advice would be appreicated

Regards

Marc

Eheim is good!

Chinese brand didn't work out for me...

There will be new product coming into Australia from Japan... It is canister filter, but you dont have to pump it to get water into the filter... the pump it self is located inside the fish tank and it just pumps the water into the filter... This filter will be great... price is more likely same or more than Eheim though
