Nah! http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
At this stage I'll settle with only my display tank.
Unfortunately my personality is of the addictive type.So I have to be very careful of how I get involved with my hobbies.Every thing I do becomes an obsession.
Marc, you know about SNA and the GTGs http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif My hi-fi and home theatre at least is enjoyed by all of my family and freinds. Before I used to be out in the fish room in this year round tropical climate, alone. http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif
My bride says I have a compolsive hobby disorder http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif
Since we moved house,I have no more dedicated fish room so no more rigorous mintenance schedule any more.So more free time now, well not really, now I have kids.
I don't have a huge fish pond anymore either, just a smaller ornamental one.
But I have been dealing with tropical fish for a long time,as a hobbyist now but as supplier to some retail outlets as a part time business that nearly became full time.
My main specialty was breeding discus and some other Sth Americans.
So I have a better than average ability to spawn and maintain these guys.
The reason I never really attempted the Rift Lake Africans was because of the extreme opposites in water chemistry compared to what Discus need
I wasn't willing to make space for extra water treatment facilities.
I remember when all tanks were full of fry and everything was firing on all cylnders I would go through nearly two tons of treated(purified)water/day.
I was ever so close so getting an import and quarantine license.then I had to just take a step back and re-evaluate.This was only meant to be a hobby, not another full time job http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif
Mate my gas ,electricity and medication bills were huge.Let alone the excess water usage bill.
But I'll gladly volenteer any info I can regarding larger scale setups for keeping and breeding in a domestic situation.

Unfortunately not,I'd disassembled the fish room years before I got a digi camera http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif
I may have a few old photographs around that I maybe able to scan though,if I could only find them??? http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif
Must say it was an impressive fish room, not for the number of tanks but for the way of automation, and PVC plumbing with each tank fitted with taps to allow a 30% drain and water change. It used to take me about 3 mins of my own time to do the 30% water changes on the 50+ tanks.
Firstly I'd just walk around the room opening all the taps, then come back in 5 mins to close them and open the refill tap to fill each tank. Also each tank had an overflow so to stop flooding.
But cleaning and siphoning was another story, even with bare bottomed tanks this was alot of labour http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif
The room was centraly heated with two old second hand vulcan gas heaters,2 incase one failed!!So it was like working in the tropics, the room was maintained between 30-32 deg C.
