Im more of a fisherman but also love fish tanks.
I have a 4x2x2 tank a few containers in the back yard my favourite fish to have as a pet and catch would be barramundi.
I buy barra in large quantities grow them up to about 100mm the stock them into my mates dams to catch and release.
I use to have one large barra that died and i measured it and went 33cm when died awwww.
I am making my 4x2x2 tank into a native tank with barra,bass,murrey cod,bristle nose and eel tail catties.
I have a bass about 80mm waiting in the back yard to be moved into his new home and i will be getting some barra around 60mm to go in the tanks.

Hi and welcome BK. Sounds like you're right into your fish.

One word of advice though, you might want to reconsider a 4 footer with MC, Bass and Barra all in it. I think I know who will end up owning the tank and pushing (or eating) the others out! :)

im going to put the bass in first its about 4cm bigger then the barra and i hope they grow to about the same size before i have to get rid of them.
the murrey cod or barra will take over the tank but the murrey cod is a maby or maby not thing.
all the fish are going to be small when they first go in bass will be the biggest :)
