Well this afternoon our family went from small to quiet large.

We now have...

6 silver shark
2 oscars
2 kribensis
2 male bristle nose
1 albino male bristle nose
2 female bristle nose
2 peacock cichlids
1 clown loach
3 guppies
4 rummy noses
And 1 gourami, I'm not entirely sure what type it is yet, but I'm sure I will soon, he's a beautiful milky but bright orange.

So now we are 4 tanks set up and tonight we're setting up a 5th with the water from our newbies tank. I'm hoping that VERY soon we can bugger off one of our bigger ones and two smaller ones for a 6fter. *daises off in day dream*

As soon as I put the new batteries in my camera I'll probably overload you guys with photos lol.

So if anyone has got any useful info on our guys, don't be shy to let me know, I know bits and pieces about a couple, but I'm still a newbie at some of the new breeds.

Yeah we have three of them now, and they're extreamly happy, they haven't grown at all since we got them, and I know how big they get. But thanks for the advice!

no probs... Clowns are very slow growers, so you should be right for a while. I have 6 clowns and they are fabulous.

We'd love to get more, but our oscars and cichlids are just growing too fast.

Well what a change we have had. We are down to;
5 silver shark
2 oscars
1 kribensis
A MILLION BRISTLENOSE
2 parrots
2 peacock cichlids
2 clown loaches
1 guppie
2 rummy nose and
one little guy we think is a tetra but aren't sure.

And on an extreamly exciting note. My Dad and I are actually going to invest in either a 5ft or 6ft and fill it full of beautiful rarety's. We have already purches 4....can't quiete remember their names. They're african cichlids, electric blue with a black dorsel fin. They're very hard to come by and ours have been imported from Sydney.

We have been joined by another oscar, we now have three; 1 albino red tiger, 1 albino x red tiger, and one red tiger. We are also up to 2 african peacock cichlid, not sure what the yellow ones species is, and I forgot to write down the other two *blush*. I will check with my fish ladie this weekend.

Our bristlenose also keep breeding like rabbits, I think I might change that expression actually, rabbits breed like bristlenose!

We very soon should be joined by 6 rare blue peacock cichlids which have been imported from Sydney, a couple Demasoni's and electric yellows, a hand full of neon tetra's aswell as molly's and platys.

I am having some second thoughts about the Demasoni's though, I have been reeding up on them and so far they sound like very aggresive fish. The rare blues they would be housed with are a peaceful fish but share similar colouring, which I have red causes the Demasoni's to fight...anyone got any advice? I'm not looking for aggresive fish for the 5ft, I want peaceful friendly community fish. I ALREADY HAVE 3 OSCARS!

HELP!

whaat are the rare peacocks?

Well for one, tetras and peacocks live in vastly different water conditions. It's always hard to judge the behaviour of fish when you're mixing ones that wouldn't normally be found in the same regions.
