Too Much Movement???

Hi all

After coming from saltwater were heaps of turnover per hour is needed just wandering if i got to much movement in my freswater aquarium im starting ?

My Freswater Tank Is A 4x2x2 Running Two canistor filters @ 1850 lph and a 1100 lph power head is this overkill?

Tossing Up Between Native Tank Or Tropical Community Got A few Weeks To Make My mind Up While Cycling Tank

If your fish are struggling to stat still and are constantly swimming against current then I'd say its to much.

They need some rest zones unlike corals in marines where the continous supply of circulating oxygenated water is needed.

I agree with Joz. Also, even if you do pick fish that will enjoy strong flows, you'll have to feed them more to compensate for energy consumption, which means more water changes and no holidays...
