Didn't you already make a decision about this in the other thread?

yeah mate i did, however in the other friend i was only told how many of the zebras would fit in the tank, not the jewels and i never spoke about other colonies to go with the jewels and i thought it best to start a new thread to ask questions about the jewels rather than do it in the zebra thread

if you have any info i would appriciate it

cheers

Jewels can be pretty nasty, even amongst themselves, tearing off each others tails and so on. But if there's another species that you could put in with them in such close quarters, it would be convicts. Rough crowd though, you'd want plenty off hiding places :p

I suppose you could have 6 of each if you really wanted to fill the tank up, but if you're looking to just breed the Jewels, I'd go for a male and 4-5 females. Different people have different ways of doing things chief, you'll have to try find out what works for you. The joys of fishkeeping I guess you'd call it

i think i will go with just the jewels as i don't want to fill up the tank and i want room to expand my colony

cheers
