Gone fishing

I went fishing with a friend last weekend after murray cod and perch.
There is Murray cod, silver perch, yellow perch and Jade or Barcoo grunters there but we only managed to get cod and silver perch.
We caught quite a few though and these guys are average size.
Unfortunately we had no tape measure or scales with us to know how big the fish really were.

My foot as reference, I’ve got size 11 feet.

I was using a medium weight whiting rod. All the fish fought well although the cod just seem to give up once they are at the surface.

Yep that sounds like a cod to me!! one good burst of energy then they just come in!
