Nuaghty Oscar!

Well last night sitting back watching telly our Albino Oscar was tapping the glass showing off his catch to me. One of our little Silver Sharks

I really couldn't do much as he was a gonna, So they had abit of a tasty treat after i roused on him.. although i doubt he (or she) understood me and decided to play games

Oscars are a funny fish, The albino has gotten to the point that i can put my hand in the tank and give him a light nudge and he will just turn and look as if to say "What are you doing?"

he is naughty i had an oscar that became completly comfortable with me and did not mind my presence in the tank at all. It is really special when that happens.

hopfully the fish eating was a one off thing

Well it certainly will be know. Johnny did a move house last night and they don't want to pick on the boys in with him now cause they're the same size as him and would be a good fight. But they're pretty flacid, I still can't believe he ate the silver shark. They had all been such good friends.

Just not used to you

It was a once off thing. I brought some feeder fish yesterday for them. They got to a point that they were full. and the other feeders were swiming round happily. Till they got hungry again

i used to have two that liked a rub on the back!! but i know how you feel, i came home one day to find my oscar with half a spiny eel hanging out his mouth ( keep in mind the eels full length was 2 inches longer than the total length of the oscar!!
