making baby food!

Hey i don't know if anyone else does this or not ,:confused: but i have a couple of clutches of fry at the moment and was thinking of a way to feed them as they are getting bigger but not quite big enough for my tetra bits yet, Sooooooooooooooooo
i though of this, i put some spirulina pellets and some tetra colour granules into my old pepper grinder, cleaned it out first of course! couple of hundred turns and hey presto instant baby size pellets!
they are perfect size and the fish can now eat again!:D

Nice! Do they sink mate, or are the fry happy to come up to the surface and take it?

Good idea,this way its bite size for the little tackers.
That's all most fry need,that is being able to get it into their mouth.

they mostly sink, and the fry seem to love it, the spirulina seems to float aswell but its gone by the time i go back in the room so i imagine its sinking as the parents and fry seem to rarely go above 1/2 way up the tank anyway
