G'day everyone. I'm from Cairns and have had an interest in Aquariums for as long as I can remember. That's not to say I know much because I don't.http://www.thefishtank.com.au/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif Just love the Hobbie and what it has to offer. Such as a sense of accomplishment when you can manage to bring your own Eco System alive in your own place. To be able to enjoy the diversity of the different species and their behaviour as they live in the environment that you created for them. I even love the maintenance. I hear so many people say that they'd love an aquarium to watch in their place but don't want the burden of looking after them. Each to their own but I really can't understand this. I'm like a pig in sh*t! But like everyone the hobbie does come with a certain amount of problems and stress. But this is how we learn right? Anyway look forward to interacting with you all on line. This is my first forum and am enjoying it already. Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Look forward to learning heaps and maybe even being of some assistance also. Would love to post some photo's but tank looks very ordinary at the moment as it's fairly new and I'm in the process of getting to the bottom of a couple of issues before I can get any real stability within. Hey Woodsy, sorry Mate I'll have to pass on that as all that, "I love maintenance" stuff's just a front so I don't have to sit down every night and watch BB and all the Soaps with the missus.

Hahaha, I wish my man would do maintenance to our tanks instead of watching my soaps lol. Welcome to TFT mate! There's some friendly people on here who really know their stuff, I've learnt alot of them...and like you continue to learn every day.
